2019 Motorsport UK Academy drivers selected

Sixteen promising young drivers from the disciplines of Kart, Race and Rally have been selected to join the Motorsport UK Academy squad programme.

The initiative supports some of the next generation of UK drivers – helping to develop them as they progress through the sport. The workshop-led scheme will offer a tailored approach to development, while on event support will be on hand to put into practice what is learnt away from competition.

The latest sixteen selected for the programme are as follows:

Harry Barlow (Kart)
Maria Bright (Kart)
Tom Canning (Race)
Charlie Collins (Race)

Competitor Pathway Manager Greg Symes said: “We were inundated with applications and the sheer volume of high-quality drivers made it a difficult process to whittle down to the final sixteen. We are delighted to announce our new intake and we have a great group and a real mix of drivers from many categories in the sport. The Motorsport UK team and coaches are looking forward to working with them over the next couple of years and developing their skillset to progress their careers.
