Tavern Motor Club was started in 1963 by a group of Rallying enthusiasts many of who are still involved in Motorsport and Tavern Motor Club.

We are still a club based around Rallying and organise two Road Rally events each year – the Exmoor Targa Rally aimed at the more experienced Road Rally competitor and the Cotswold Historic Rally for those competitors with Historic cars.

We have competitors taking part at all levels of Rallying both in Britain and abroad.

Being an active club, Tavern Motor Club members are regularly out and about helping to organise and marshal events both locally, nationally and internationally.

So where did it all start and what's in the name?

JJ is the name of Chairman Nev & Rachel's camper van. The name Team JJ was probably first coined at the Wales GB event 2015 when many of the original Team members were part of the organising stage team on the Sweet Lamb stage. The event that year saw horrendous weather and it was said that Team JJ were battling on to make sure the stage ran. From that day the name began to be used and more and more stage commanders/event organisers started to ask if the group would be available to marshals on their stages/events, therefore the name Team JJ was used more and more. In late 2016 after another successful Wales GB it was decided to approach the MSA and request that the Team received official recognition as a club. The relevant forms were completed and in late January 2017 the MSA granted the Team recognised marshal club status.
As a marshals club we pay no affiliation fees to the MSA therefore we try and keep the membership fee as low as possible whilst having funds to run the club. This does mean our members are not permitted to compete in the clubs name and we as a club are not permitted to arrange events, however we can organise training events. Members are permitted to be on organising teams for events as well as act as Stage Commanders, stage safety officers and other roles. Should you wish to compete you must ensure that you are also a member of an MSA affiliated motor club.

The team strongly encourages all of its members to have completed the online training and registered with the MSA. The online training should take no more than 45 minutes and is designed to educate and encourage. In reality the training takes a lot less time.

Thame Motorsport Club was formed in 1961 and was originally called the Thame & District Car Club. The club is primarily involved in Rallying, with around 30 active teams this year and today has a membership of over 120 involved at all levels of the sport. However we do not limit our activities to rallying. The list of events members are currently involved with either as competitors, organisers or marshals includes: - Stage Rallies, Autotests, Karting, Road Rallies, 12-Car Rallies & Navigational Scatters.

We are an MSA Recognised Club and have organised a variety of events ranging from indoor karting competitions, through to road and stage rallies, including running stages for the Network Q Rally and the new Rockingham Stages.

So if you would like to get more involved in Motorsport either as a competitor, marshal, or service crew why not come along to a club evening and find out more. We have many experienced competitors on hand, who are always willing to offer help and advice and new members are always made welcome.

That’s Motorsport Ltd was formed to provide a variety of activities and opportunities to competitors, officials and marshals alike, our initial focus was on Training for Marshals and Cross Country Competitive events, this has expanded into Rallying and other disciplines as well.

Founded in 1951, the AOC caters for owners of all Alvis cars, even including military vehicles! You do not have to be an owner to join, associate members are welcome. Often associate members are those who join intending to buy an Alvis, seeking advice and access to cars for sale by Club members. There are some 1,700 members world wide, in six UK sections (Scottish, Northern, Midland, East Anglian, South Eastern, Welsh and South Western), plus active overseas sections in the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and North America. Stated objectives of the Club are the preservation of Alvis vehicles, the running of social and competitive events for all Alvis vehicle enthusiasts, and, in so far as is practicable, to provide services to members. The club holds monthly off-road driving challenges for four wheel drive vehicles. these are all on private land with the emphisis on driving skill rather than speed. Any make of 4x4 is welcome provided it is taxed and mot'd. Look at the club website for vehicle requirements at clcc.uk.com

The Imp Club was set up to help preserve the Hillman Imp and its Rootes engineered variants. It's motto is "Keeping The Imp Alive".

We are a small club committed to the appreciation and preservation of the Lancia Montecarlo, Scorpion and 037.
Our members have accumulated a wealth of knowledge including Technical know-how essential for keeping the cars on the road. A number of meetings are held in the UK during the season and we organize European trips from time to time.

The Midland Speed Club co-ordinates the Midland Speed Championship in which contenders compete in both Sprints and Hillclimbs at various venues around the UK.
