I provide coaching sessions for rally crews/navigators in Historic Road Rallies/Targa Road Rallies and Road Rallies. Topics covered in these sessions include roadbooks, maos and route plotting, special test performance, regularity and timing processes.

I also offer coaching sessions for rally crews/co-drivers in Special Stage rallies. Topics covered within these sessions include, event timing, preparation and pace notes. Coaching via webinar for theory or in person for practical sessions available.

Biography

I started racing in karts when I was 13. By the time I was 20 I had out grown karts due to my height and made the move to single seaters. I have raced nationally as well as overseas in California and Australia. I currently work as a driver coach and team manager for protrain racing as well as working as an instructor for Silverstone and have worked with drivers of all experience levels and a wide age range from 8 years old to 65.

I have held a Competition licence since 1994 (International C) and have worked in the motorsport industry since 1996. I have been actively coaching since 2007 and continued to compete in numerous categories including Formula Ford, Caterham, Ginetta, Porsche, Funcup and 2CV! In addition to these, I have also competed in stage rallying in a Group N spec Peugeot 106 Rallye. I completed nine 24 hour races and gained 3 podium finishes.

Biography

Racing Driver and Coach

Like many, I started karting many years ago before suffering and injury. During that time, I was unable to race completely but returned with SIM racing leading to a lot of success as I continued to better myself with different teams, cars and circuits. Upon making my return to karting 5 years later, I went on to hold a few lap records whilst also becoming the Head Instructor at a Teamsport cirucit passing on my knowledge to junior drivers and guiding a number to National Finals at the BIKC.

I am currently a serving British Army Officer, and have been involved with Motorsport for over 16 years. I am experienced in multiple motorsport disciplines from PCAT to Rally. Competing as a Rally Driver and Co-Driver; internationally in Iceland and Belgium, whilst also completing 3 seasons on the BRC. Biography

I have been involved in motorsport for over 20 years, with a previous background in karting at a national level. I have also been racing in closed wheel and tin top formulas at the club level since 2008, achieving top 3 finishes in the 750MC Locost and winning the 2018 M3 Cup Championship.

Since 2020, I have been offering driver support to those in grassroot formulas in the UK. In 2021, this expanded to offering one-to-one coaching and group sessions of Motorsport Coaching support, trackside or remotely. I obtained the qualification of Level 2 Motorsport Support Coach with Motorsport UK and 1st4sport accreditation in 2023.

As a coach, I am available for support coaching at all driver levels, offering a range of trackside packages and remote coaching opportunities targeted to individual driver's specific needs and learning styles. I am a friendly and empowering coach who focuses on a driver-centered philospohy, setting driver goals and using analysis of data and video to provide a supportive environment. For drivers to achieve improvement and reach targets, all while enjoying motorsport and track time.

Biography

Among the most diverse motorsport practitioners in the UK today, with driving and engineering nouse, combined with an inclusive and nurturing approach developed through a career in education. Experience at all levels in a variety of disciplines, having contested the British Karting Championship, circuit racing, short ovals, autotest/autosolo, sprints/hills, rallying, autocross, and winning the British Superkart Grand Prix at Cadwell Park.

Extensive background in esports / simracing / digital motorsport dating back to 2004, including competing at the iRacing World Championships in both road and oval disciplines in 2010-11. Deep engineering understanding, with an MSc in Motorsport Engineering and numerous years working for an automotive OEM. Motorsport UK Steward, with comprehensive knowledge of the rules of UK motorsport, inc. licnensing and competitor progression pathways.

Recent specialism in rallying, helping develop drivers to successes such as 2nd in the Welsh Rally Championship, 2nd in the J1000 Ecosse Challenge, and the finals of the John Easson Award. Competing as a co-driver from clubman through to international/WRC level, with knowledge of both sides of the car, guiding crew members through the nuances of the sport, be it their first taste of pace notes, timekeeping, or finding those last few s/km.

Biography

Developing an interest in cars and racing at an early age it was not until I reached 18 that I started karting. Initially at Buckmore park, back when it was just 600 metres. 35 years later I still like to jump in a kart when I can.
In 2002 I took up club level superbike racing at various circuits around Europe, such as Rijeka, Hockenheim and Magione. Self employment forced me to behave for a while, but the itch to race wouldn't go away. I started out gaining some instructor qualifications in 2018 and on my car racing career in 2019. I have now turned my love for racing into my full time job!
