Become a Motorsport Accelerator!

This award is designed to support you to get more people involved and enjoying motorsport activities either at a club, event or generally within the motorsport community.

It’s for anyone who is enthusiastic about motorsport, whether you are an aspiring coach, a parent, club co-ordinator or volunteer.  The online course will develop your skills and improve understanding to help you to facilitate fun and inclusive motorsport events and environments.

You don’t have to be really good at motorsport – this course is open to everybody, you just need the passion to accelerate the sport by learning how to engage participants, keep them having fun and encourage them to return time and time again.

We hope the award gives you a new confidence to support a positive experience for motorsport participants.

Award Prerequisites

• Be at least 17 years of age
• Have access to a device for the online resources

Award Fees

The cost of the course is £34.99 which includes the online modules, assessment, downloadable certificate and additional online resources as well as a ‘Motorsport Accelerator’ badge to display on clothing or promotional materials.

To sign up to the Accelerator Award, please follow the steps below.

1. Register – If you’re not already registered with Motorsport UK (for example, as a Marshal, Official or Competitor) then you will need register with us. . You can do this by clicking here. If you’re already registered, great!
2. Payment – Click here to make payment via Stripe to get your Coaching Hub Login.
3. Once payment has been made, please send your registration number to coaching@motorsportuk.org . You will then be enrolled onto the course; you will receive an email back once this has been done.
4. Learning Hub – Access the learning hub by logging into your account here and clicking ‘learning hub’ on the left panel of your profile.
