The 2026 season for Karting will see the implementation of Slow Boards at all Motorsport UK Permitted Events, replacing the black / yellow quarter flag. The full Slow Board procedure can be found in the National Competition Rules, in Chapter 18, Appendix 5, Article 1.33. The National Competition Rules contains how a Slow Procedure can be called, what on track sessions it can be called in, and the restart procedure. The Motorsport UK Kart Flag module is being updated accordingly to reflect the implementation of the Slow Boards. Where required on an event, please liaise with the Clerk of the Course or Chief Marshal if you need further guidance.
