Motorsport UK offered the organisation of the British Cross Country Championship to tender earlier in 2021.

Unfortunately, Motorsport UK received no proposals and given the lack of prospective organising and promoting organisations, a British Championship title in the Cross Country discipline will not be offered in 2022.

A new tender process seeking a new organiser and promoting body will open in 2022 for the 2023 season onwards to restore the championship title.
