As part of Motorsport Month South West take a look at the variety of motorsport events taking place across Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset this upcoming weekend:

MG Car Club Wiscombe Park Hill Climb organised by Woolbridge Motor Club – 11 September 2021

Located in Devon, the Wiscombe Park Hill Climb will play host to the MG Car Club. The Wooldbridge Motor Club have organised a day of exciting motorsport action, as a variety of MG models take to the hill climb course in the hope of finishing the day with the quickest time.

David Ayers Trial organised by Launceston & North Cornwall Motor Club – 12 September 2021

The British Sporting Trial Championship heads to Camelford, Cornwall for the David Ayers Trial organised by Launceston & North Cornwall Motor Club. The course will test the drivers on their ability to control their vehicles in the challenging Cornish countryside.

Autosolo organised by Devizes & District Motor Club – 12 September 2021

Over in Cirencester, the Devizes & District Motor Club will run their annual September Autosolo at Kemble Airfield this weekend. Entrants will tackle a designated course that will require full throttle manoeuvring around tight corners.

Autotest organised by Camel Vale Motor Club – 12 September 2021

The Camel Vale Motor Club will host an Autotest at Buniere Farm in Wadebridge, providing grassroots motorsport enthusiasts and those interested in competing for the first time a cost-effective way to enjoy motorsport.

Classic Car Run organised by Camel Vale Motor Club – 12 September 2021

As well as an Autotest, the Camel Vale Motor Club will be holding the A30 Cornwall Retro Run, inviting historic and retro car owners to re-run the old A30 route from the country’s boundary near Launceston to Land’s End. During the spectacular journey, entrants will drive through some of Cornwall’s most picturesque areas, including Lanivet and Blackwater.
