Motorsport UK celebrates World Photography Day

Thursday 19 August 2021

To mark World Photography Day, we have opened up our archives to look back at the previous Motorsport UK Photographer of the Year winners.

Most recently, the judges unanimously voted Jack Clayden as 2020 Photographer of the Year after the Jersey snapper captivated the critics with the combination of originality and creativity in his impressive portfolio. Jack joined an illustrious roll call of past winners, including Lou Johnson, who became the first women to receive the accolade in 2019. Lou’s collection was considered to be “on another level” and captured the imagination of our judging panel.

For 19 years, Motorsport UK has celebrated young media representatives. An expert panel considers the applications before choosing a winner to be presented with their trophy at the Motorsport UK Night of Champions ceremony.

Take a look at our gallery of winners and stay tuned for more information on how to enter the 2021 Photographer of the Year.
