Official Seminar Series 2026 – Registrations Open
We are pleased to announce that registrations for the upcoming Seminar Series for Clerks of the Course, Motorsport UK Stewards and Scrutineers are now open.
Please click here to register for a place.
Important information:
The upcoming seminar series will be in a different format in comparison to previous years.
- If you are a Clerk of the Course or Steward, you will take part in a half-day general session (with Scrutineers) and a half-day session focused on your primary discipline. For this reason, you will see that each venue will specify which discipline sessions will be taking place (see calendar below). Upon registering for a seminar, we will allocate you to your primary discipline automatically. If you hold more than one Clerk of the Course licence, we will allocate you to a session that best reflects your primary discipline. Note that for some venues, some discipline sessions are provisional and will take place subject to sufficient numbers; in the case that we do not have sufficient numbers to hold a session, we will be in touch with you to discuss suitable alternatives.
- If you are a Car Scrutineer (inc. Environmental), you will take part in a half day general session (with Clerks of the Course and Stewards) and a half-day session covering Scrutineering topics relating to cars.
- If you are a Kart Scrutineer (inc. Environmental), you will take part in a half day general session (with Clerks of the Course and Stewards) and a half-day session covering Scrutineering topics relating to karts. Note that not all venues will cover kart-specific sessions; the registration form will therefore automatically show you which venues will have these sessions taking place.
- If you reside in the Isle of Man, Jersey or Guernsey, the seminars taking place in these locations will be open to all licence holders of any discipline/specialism. Location for the Isle of Man will be confirmed and communicated directly, dates and locations for Jersey and Guernsey will also be communicated directly. Please register to ensure you receive these communications.
- As in previous years, Motorsport UK will contribute to your travel costs to attend these seminars. All delegates will be entitled to claim 45p/mile, 100 miles each way (200 miles round trip = £90). A passenger rate is also claimable at 5p/mile if you carry passengers also attending the seminar. If you are not travelling by car, public transport costs can be claimed up to £90.
2026 Seminar Series Calendar:
Please see below the calendar for the 2026 Seminar Series. We appreciate that in some cases, your closest venue may not hold your primary discipline or specialism area, although all efforts have been made to ensure there is sufficient coverage for the majority of licence holders. Subsequent seminar series will see the alternation of locations to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to attend two out of every three seminars (in accordance with the NCR).
*denotes where sessions are provisional subject to sufficient numbers.
**There will be no standalone sessions for Scrutineers at the Isle of Man Seminar.
