FIA Motorsport Games: Cross Car
New for the 2021 competition, the Cross Car competition is split into two categories: junior and senior. The competition will be based at Autocross Veynois, west of the French town of Gap.
Cross Cars are small motorcycle-powered, buggy-like single-seaters with impressive power-to-weight figures that are relatively cheap and easy to maintain. Although not popular in the UK, the discipline has been around for several years. Since 2017 the FIA has been working with national sporting authorities around the world to establish it as an organised lower level on both the autocross and rallycross pyramids, as well as in rallying.
