Spanning ten events and comprising of 30 races, this year’s British F4 season has seen no less than 14 different drivers charge to victory, while a further five have also stood on the podium. In the end though, it was Hitech TGR’s Fionn McLaughlin who was crowned champion.

Writing his name into the pages of history, the Red Bull Junior produced a sublime season to clinch both the Drivers’ and Rookie Cup titles, scooping an invaluable 12 FIA Super Licence Points in the process.

The Wera Tools F4 British Championship certified by FIA brought the curtain down on its 2025 season in thrilling fashion at Brands Hatch as Tommy Harfield and Jimmy Piszcyk claimed a win apiece in front of a capacity trackside crowd.

Piszcyk’s second win of the weekend – along with the season-long performances of Adam Al Azhari, Ella Lloyd, Dries van Langendonck, Guy Albag and Chloe Chong – guaranteed that Rodin Motorsport retained their Teams’ Cup crown by the most slender of margins – just 1.5 points.

The final day of the season began with Harfield producing a scintillating performance to clinch his third win of the year. Starting from pole position, the 16-year-old made the perfect launch off the line, and from that moment on he was never troubled as he cruised to a comfortable victory and picked up the Lotus Fastest Lap along the way.

Behind Harfield, Cole Hewetson gave his team Xcel Motorsport cause to celebrate as he delivered a wheel-perfect drive to secure his first-ever overall British F4 podium; and for good measure he also snared a maiden Rookie Cup win as well.

His team-mate Chase Fernandez made a flying start to move up to third on the inaugural run to Paddock Hill Bend, ensuring that Xcel were represented by two drivers on the podium; however, he was later disqualified following post-race scrutineering

Newly-crowned champion McLaughlin was a man on the move in the opening exchanges as he moved up to fourth ahead of Bearman, and the pair would run line astern to finish third and fourth respectively following post-race judicials.

Completing the top ten was Ethan Jeff-Hall (Argenti Motorsport), van Langendonck, Martin Molnár (Virtuosi Racing), Al Azhari, Henry Joslyn (Fortec Motorsport) and Piszcyk.

With the Drivers’, Rookie and Challenge Cup titles all sewn up, all eyes were on Rodin Motorsport and Hitech TGR going into the final race of the year, as the two powerhouse outfits went head-to-head for the coveted crown.

The top three of the Rookie Cup was also decided, as Bearman finished a comfortable second, and Hewetson pipped Xcel Motorsport team-mate Theo Palmer to third by a single point.
