The Motorsport UK Girls Karting Academy will return this school holiday with a series of taster sessions taking place at TeamSport Indoor Karting venues across the UK.
The first sessions will take place in one week on Tuesday 17 February, with events running at venues nationwide. Designed to introduce girls to karting in a welcoming and supportive environment, the sessions require no previous motorsport experience. Participants will receive expert instruction both on and off track, covering the fundamentals of kart control, racing lines and driving technique.
The Girls Karting Academy continues to grow, with four new TeamSport venues joining the programme for 2026, further expanding opportunities for girls to take their first steps into motorsport.
Delivered in partnership with TeamSport, the programme will be hosted at venues in Bristol, Coventry, Crawley, Dundee, Farnborough, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Mitcham, Newcastle, Nottingham, Preston, Southampton and Warrington, ensuring broad access for families across the country.
The taster sessions form part of Motorsport UK’s ongoing commitment to improving diversity and accessibility within the sport, providing young girls with a positive introduction to karting and the potential pathways available within motorsport.
