This Easter weekend there’s a huge choice of motorsport activity in the UK, covering almost every discipline. With so much motorsport happening across the country there will be something near you – use our interactive map here to search by your postcode and get out there and enjoy some motorsport this weekend!

Whether you are competing, volunteering or spectating, there’s something for everyone – and with some events hosting family-themed activities it’s the perfect weekend to get involved.  

Circuit Racing 

There’s a wide variety of circuit racing action on offer this Easter, much of it showcasing the very best of club motorsport in the UK. 

Brands Hatch is holding its traditional family-themed Easter Truck Racing event on Saturday and Sunday with support from Pickup Trucks and various saloon classes including TCR UK, plus a full off-track programme including show trucks and monster trucks.  

Donington Park hosts the 750 Motor Club on Monday, including action from the 750 Formula series, Toyota MR2 Championship, Locost Championship, Swift Sport Challenge, Mighty Minis and Formula Vee. 

Visitors to Silverstone can enjoy two simultaneous events this weekend with both the National and International configurations in use. Motorsport Vision Racing will be occupying the former with MINI Challenge Trophy and United Formula Ford the headline attractions while a variety of historic machines and sports racers will race on the International layout in the Equipe Classic Racing event. 

At Castle Combe Circuit, Howard’s Race Day recognises the legacy of legendary owner Howard Strawford with racing from the Castle Combe Racing Club – including FF1600, Hot Hatch, GTs and Saloon Cars – and the Welsh Racing Drivers Association.

Autocross/Rallycross 

The opening round of the 5 Nations British Rallycross Championship headlines the Easter action at Lydden Hill, plus a variety of rallycross classes in support, including retro machines. Meanwhile the Guernsey Motor Cycle and Car Club is holding a sand race on Saturday afternoon at Vazon Bay on the island.

Karting 

The karting season gets into full swing this Easter, offering fast and furious racing with the potential for spotting stars of the future. The opening rounds of the Rotax RMC Ultimate Karting Championship takes place at Whilton Mill in Daventry and the Trent Valley Kart Club Championship season gets underway at PF International Kart circuit in Grantham. Forest Edge Kart Club, meanwhile, hosts its second round at the Winchester-based circuit.

Drag Racing 

The UK’s only dedicated drag racing venue, Santa Pod Raceway in Northamptonshire will be holding its Festival of Power event from Friday until Sunday. With everything including Jet Cars, Nitro Funny Cars and 200mph Pro Mods on the strip, there’s a packed programme of family-themed entertainment too with monster trucks, stunts and funfair rides.

Trials 

There are trials events at the east, west and south of mainland UK this Easter for this fun discipline in which going the distance takes priority over speed. There’s plenty of activity in Grantham, with Stainby Quarry hosting several classes for much of the extended weekend and Eaton Lodge on Sunday. There are two days of activity  at Earlye Farm in Wadhurst, while the 102nd Lands End Trial takes place on Friday and Saturday, Cwm Gof in Cardigan is on Easter Sunday and the young farmers taster event at Taversham Shooting Ground in Norwich rounds off the weekend on Monday.

Autotest/AutoSOLO 

Autotesting and AutoSOLO are great grassroots disciplines for both beginners and experienced competitors, testing precision and car control. There are events in Scotland, Wales and both north and south England on Easter Sunday, plus an Easter Sunday event in north Wales.

Sprint 

Driving against the clock, sprinting is a great way to enjoy the thrill of lapping a circuit and optimising performance. There are two sprint events in Scotland this weekend, plus the Goodwood Road Racing Club Spring Sprint on the flat-out Goodwood circuit.

Hill Climb 

Hill Climbing provides the thrill of fast competition against the clock of sprinting, but with the additional challenge of ascending a hill route – momentum and precision are key in this discipline. There are events in Shrewsbury and the Channel Islands this weekend.

Rally 

The iconic Circuit of Ireland Rally begins with a ceremonial start in The Linen Green shopping village in Dungannon on Thursday evening. Stage action takes place over the next two days, with several fast and technical stages covering over 115 miles.
