Meet the teams… ecoRally Scotland
This 26-27 July, will see Motorsport UK host an ‘electric weekend’, showcasing electric motorsport from grassroots level upwards. While Formula E is electrifying London’s Docklands, in Dundee, round eight of the Bridgestone ecoRally Cup will be taking place during ecoRally Scotland.
Open to fully electric (EV) vehicles, teams of two (driver and navigator) and their Electric Vehicle, tackle a road route starting out from Dundee, navigating stunning scenery across the Tayside.
Teams will need to record all check points within the given times and complete ‘regularity tests’ checking average speed along the route – precision navigating, problem solving and teamwork will be the order of the day.
Here’s some of the teams who are stepping up to the challenge…
Michal Žďárský and Jakub Nábělek, (Czech Republic)
Michal and Jakub are the reigning Bridgestone FIA ecoRally Cup Champions, having won the title in 2023 and 2024, and three-times Czech ecoRally Champions (2022/23/24). Prior to their FIA title victories, they placed 3rd in 2021 and 2022. In 2024 Žďárský also placed 2nd in the ecoRally Cup China.
They are currently 2nd in the 2025 Bridgestone FIA ecoRally Cup standings, 16pts behind Guerrini and 34pts behind Prusak respectively. So far this season they have secured victories in the Czech Republic (Rd 3) and Slovenia (Rd 5), and 2nd place in Valencia, Spain (Rd 2).

Guido Guerrini, (San Marino) and Artur Prusak, (France)
Reigning Vice-Champions, and current championship leaders of the 2025 Bridgestone FIA ecoRally Cup. So far this season they have notched up victories in Valencia (Rd 2 – Guido’s first victory in this prestigious event), Portugal (Rd 4) and Belgium (Rd 6), 2nd in the Czech Republic (Rd 3), and 3rd in Slovenia (Rd 5) and Iceland (Rd 7).
One of the most ‘veteran’ crews in the field, with both members being well versed in both seats of an ecoRally car. In 2016 and 2017, Guido won the FIA Alternative Energies Cup in the co-drivers’ category. He also collected eight second places, as a co-driver in 2015 and as a driver from 2011 to 2014 and in 2020/2021/2022 – he therefore bids this year for this first Driver’s Title.
Artur is an accomplished driver, having won the FIA title as a driver in 2015 (in a Toyota Prius), 2016 and 2020. Since 2021 he has switched to co-driving, and alongside Guido has finished 2nd in the FIA standings the last 3 seasons, in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
