Adrienne Watson

With a career spanning more than 30 years in motorsport, Adrienne Watson has built extensive experience across championship coordination, regulation writing and high-level officiating.

Adrienne began her involvement in the sport with the British Racing Drivers’ Club before moving into championship coordination, working across several major series. These included the British Touring Car Championship during the Super Touring era, as well as Formula BMW in both the UK and Europe.

Her work in championship management developed into a focus on regulations and event operations, leading to her appointment as a Motorsport UK Steward in 2012. Since then, she has officiated across a range of national and international events.

In 2022, Adrienne was appointed Motorsport UK Steward for the Formula 1 Lenovo British Grand Prix, where she served as the only female member of the stewarding panel at her home race.

Alongside her officiating responsibilities, Adrienne has been a strong advocate for women in motorsport, promoting opportunity through merit and encouraging wider participation across the sport.

Adrienne now joins the Motorsport UK Board, bringing experience in championship management, regulatory development and stewarding at the highest level of the sport.
