Looking at getting involved in motorsport but not sure how to do it? It’s easier than you think – and we’ll show you how. Motorsport is a thrilling, visceral, rewarding and sociable activity but it needn’t be expensive; there are disciplines for everyone, you can even compete in your everyday road car or get involved in a non-competitive way.

We’re on a mission to get more people enjoying motorsport, more often and on Thursday 26th March you can join us at the Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall for an evening exploring how to get involved in the sport. If you’ve ever wondered how, now is your chance to find out whether you want to race, volunteer, or get closer to the action – there’s a place for you.

It’ll be an informal evening held in the club’s Committee Room from 18:30 and beginning with a drinks reception and a chance to chat with fellow guests.

Presenters include representatives from Motorsport UK and Goodwood, who will share their insights on the sport, including the wide range of motorsports available, followed by the practicalities of getting started. A representative of the British Motorsport Marshals Club will also cover how to volunteer as a marshal.

The talks will be followed by an open Q&A session with the presenters plus club members representing the experiences of competition licence-holders.

The event is aimed anyone who is interested in getting into motorsport, tickets are £25 per person. Click here to secure your place, here to discover the many motorsport disciplines and here on volunteering.
