Safety Rocks seeks to inspire next generation as new Girls on Track partner

Thursday 22 May 2025

Girls on Track UK has announced Safety Rocks, providing tailored solutions to increase awareness around health and safety, as a new partner for 2025.

Safety Rocks includes altruistic objectives and having a clear social purpose within their company vision, increasing the understanding of risk within society, particularly amongst the young, as well as to change the perception of the profession from the traditional belief of safety being perceived as “dull and boring”.
Increasing female participation within the motorsport and in the wider industry is one of the drivers behind this new partnership.

Safety Rocks will be taking part in Girls on Track’s upcoming event at Lotus Cars, Norfolk, where the team will be leading a Risk Rangers activity, during which girls will need to identify a range of hazards around a crashed car on a workshop ramp.

Carla Crocombe, Founder and Managing Director, Safety Rocks, comments, “There are many reasons why Girls on Track is a fit for us, one of which is its role in increasing female participation within the sport and in the wider motorsports industry. We believe that safety is not only a job for a small proportion of society, and that good safety doesn’t have to compromise speed.

“We’ve been rocking safety for ten years now, and everything we do is designed to build a positive safety culture at every level and to make it inclusive and accessible. We want to inspire the next generation, encouraging more people into this critical profession from an early age and to take positive action on building greater accessibility, inclusion, and diversity within the health and safety profession.”

Jenny Fletcher, Girls on Track UK Manager, adds, “The role of safety in motorsport is often overlooked, and we are thrilled to partner with Safety Rocks who offer an alternative approach to this, embracing change across the industry and in our sport. We are looking forward to working with the Safety Rocks team during our upcoming event at Lotus Cars, and across the year.”
