BIKC 2025 Finals take place this weekend

Following three months of qualifying, the British Indoor Karting Championship (BIKC) will hold its National Finals from 15-16 November at TeamSport Karting in Warrington this weekend.

Karters from around the country had the opportunity to set a qualifying lap at 35 TeamSport venues UK-wide from 1 June until 31 August, with the quickest invited to compete in the finale this weekend.

This year, finalists will take on the one-kilometre track using a standing start.

The Motorsport UK Girls Karting Academy programme will have three drivers take part in the British Indoor Karting Championship (BIKC) Regional Finals this year. The initiative has introduced 850 girls aged 8-12 to motorsport at 10 TeamSport locations across the UK, during 40 taster days.

The four drivers competing are:

  • Mia Gualtieri
    • Finished 3rd at regional finals in Crawley
  • Ellena Santhosh
    • Won regional at Crawley
    • Second Time at Nationals
    • Was highest placing driver in 2023 Cadet BIKC
  • Freya Lally
    • Girls Karting Academy Scholarship Winner 2024
    • Finished 9th in 2024 BIKC
    • Won Regionals in Leicester

Partnered with Motorsport UK since 2020, the BIKC will crown its 2025 champions in five different categories:

  • Cadet (8-11 years)
  • Junior (12-15 years)
  • Lightweight (16+ years, 74kg and under)
  • Middleweight (16+ years, 75kg and over)
  • Heavyweight (16+ years, 90kg+)

The Finals for the Cadet and Junior categories takes place on Saturday 15 November, with the remaining three categories competing on Sunday 16 November.
