For the 2026 season, events in all three championships allow entry with a free RS Clubman competition licence making your first step into organised motorsport more affordable than ever.
Motorsport UK British Autotest Championship
If precision car control sounds like your thing, the 2026 British Autotest Championship is the place to put your skills to the test. The championship begins on 8 March and visits events across England, Scotland and Wales. Autotests are known for being accessible and you can compete in your everyday road car, negotiating a series of tight turns and manoeuvres against the clock.

Motorsport UK British Car Trial Championship
The British Car Trial Championship kicks off on 22 February with the Holbecks Car Trial and runs through the summer. Car Trials are low-speed, highly technical events set on grass and hillsides. They’re a brilliant way to enjoy motorsport in a supportive, club environment. Best of all, many competitors use standard road cars to compete.

British Sporting Trials Championship
The Motorsport UK British Sporting Trials Championship returns with an exciting, 18-round calendar in 2026, featuring some of the most challenging sections and terrains in UK motorsport. Sporting Trials aren’t about speed, it’s precision, concentration and collaboration between driver and passenger. The season features a mix of traditional and “major” rounds that offer double points.
