National Motorsport Week – the perfect time to try out motorsport for yourself… what better way than through Motorsport UK’s StreetCar programme, promoting grassroots motorsport and encouraging anyone to get behind the wheel of their car and join an event at their local motor club.

A great entry into motorsport, an AutoSOLO is a test of your precision and car control, with slalom sections and longer turns, not to mention – it’s a lot of fun!

Nathaniel Dhoopun O’Byrne joined Wolverhampton and South Staffs car club in 2023 after searching on the ‘find a club page’ on the Motorsport UK website. From starting his training as Competition Secretary… Nathaniel was inspired to get involved and bought an MX5 for earlier this year.

Under the tutelage of long-term member Paul Price, he did his first Autosolo sharing the car with Paul at the Cannock and District Wheelspin StreetCar event during National Motorsport Week – Finishing 23rd overall and 13th in class.

If this isn’t a sign to get involved and give motorsport a go, we don’t know what is!
