Improving accessibility within motorsport across the UK

Wednesday 24 September 2025

Nimbus, one of the UK’s leading providers of disability-related training and consultancy for business and organisations, has been working with Motorsport UK and the British Automobile Racing Club on providing accessibility guidance and support for some of our fixed venues.

Motorsport UK supported eight of its circuits to get tailored advice from Nimbus around the facilities, communications and overall experienced for disabled people. As a result, the venues have a clear action plan on how to improve, in addition to knowing where they are delivering in terms of accessibility requirements.

Some of our venues have now started working with Access card. The Access Card translates disabilities and needs into nine symbols, a recognised proof of requirements, the Card will eliminate the need for repeated explanations at different venues.

This helps build a more inclusive environment, as it encourages venues and service providers to be proactive in their accessibility efforts, working towards better accessibility for all.
