Kenzo Craigie on Target for Next Karting Crown

Monday 28 July 2025

Karting sensation Kenzo Craigie continues to make headlines and mark himself out as one of this country’s top rising talents.

The 15-year-old sensation – who is Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Junior – is now in pole position to add this year’s Champions of the Future Euro Series OK crown to an already impressive list of trophies and titles.

Capitalising on his well-earned pole position, Craigie surged to a commanding victory in the penultimate round of the season held at the Radby Karting Ring in Denmark. After a near-flawless weekend, he now leads the series heading into the final round in Kristianstad, Sweden, this September.

“Big win today to go top of the championship with one round to go,” confirmed a delighted Kenzo. “Pretty dominant weekend: four heat wins, P1 in Superheat and victory in the Final – super grateful for all the teamwork.”

Born in Epsom in 2010, Craigie rose through the ranks of British karting before stepping onto the international stage.

Highlighting his early promise, he reached the podium in his first Bambino race at just six years old. In 2022, he moved into the Cadet category and enjoyed a dominant season – winning the Ultimate Karting Championship Series, British Kartmasters (GP Plate), and British Karting Championship (O Plate). He also finished as Vice-Champion in the British Karting Championship.

In 2023, Kenzo graduated to the Junior class, competing in both UK and international Rotax and IAME categories. He secured second place in the Rotax Max Euro Trophy and claimed victory in the Paul Fletcher International Series at the PF International Karting Circuit.

The 2024 season proved even more remarkable. Moving up to the OK Junior category on the international stage, Kenzo captured the sport’s biggest prize: the FIA Karting World Championship. He followed that triumph with a win in the IAME World Final X30 and secured third place overall in the Champions of the Future Euro Series.

The ultra-impressive Mercedes Junior now looks firmly on track to add the Future Euro Series OK title to his growing CV. He is certainly a rising star to watch.
