Register for Clean Sport Week Webinar

Wednesday 18 May 2022

From 23-27 May 2022, UK Anti-Doping’s (UKAD) Clean Sport Week will be challenging athletes and sports to speak up and champion clean sport.

Clean Sport Week is UK Anti-Doping’s (UKAD’s) national awareness week, championing clean sport, education and anti-doping initiatives with sports across the UK.

UKAD want athletes to be educated and informed on the risks so they are able to say with confidence that, “What you see is 100% me.”

“100% me” is UKAD’s athlete education programme, available to athletes throughout their sporting journey. This summer, elite athletes will be competing at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. All athletes, athlete support personnel and coaches going to these Games will be completing UKAD’s clean sport education, set out in the UK’s Clean Games Policy.

As part of the week, the motorsport community is invited to join the Clean Sport Week webinar on 24 May from 13:00 to 14:00.

The webinar will enable participants to hear how elite athletes and their support teams prepare for a major games both physically and mentally, delve into anti-doping topics and find out more about the testing and education process ahead of the Commonwealth Games.

Join award winning broadcaster for the BBC and Sky, Caroline Barker who has presented at some of the world’s major events, hosting the opening of the Olympic Games in Rio for 5live and presenting from multiple football world cups across the BBC, as she interviews UKAD’s Chief Executive Jane Rumble, the Head of Nutrition for the English Institute of Sport Mike Naylor, British Paralympic powerlifter and UKAD Athlete Commission member Ali Jawad and Olympic pole vaulter Holly Bradshaw.
