The European Le Mans Series returns to the UK with the Goodyear 4 Hours of Silverstone event, Round 5 of the 2025 European Le Mans Series.

It’s been six years since the last visit to Silverstone in 2019 and it will be the first time the Michelin Le Mans Cup and Ligier European Series has raced at the Home of British Motorsport.

The ELMS features full grids of 44 cars across the four classes – LMP2, LMP2 Pro/Am, LMP3, and LMGT3 – with the ultimate prize of an automatic invitation to Le Mans on offer for the very best teams in each category – LMP2 champion and runner up; LMP2 Pro/Am, LMP3 and LMGT3 champions will receive an automatic invitation to the 24 Hours of Le Mans at the end of the season.

Aberystwyth, Rali Ceredigion, 5-7 September

The jewel in the crown for the UK Rally calendar, the fifth edition of the Aberystwyth-based event and its demanding tarmac roads will once again play host to crucial rounds of the FIA European Rally Championship (ERC) and the Probite British Rally Championship (BRC).

Competing in state-of-the-art Rally2 cars, Europe’s best will battle for glory against the UK’s homegrown stars as the event welcomes the very best drivers and teams from across UK, Ireland and Europe to west Wales. Running alongside the international crews, and competing across an identical route, will be the national event, which is open to drivers of both homologated and non-homologated rally cars.

Competitors will contest a demanding and compact route offering new challenges for competitors and ensuring the popular event reaches new areas and communities. The 190 km of competitive special stages will take place across Ceredigion and Powys counties, with the event passing through Rhayader and hosting a regroup in Lampeter.

Ceredigion is the only rally in the UK to have achieved FIA environmental accreditation, and is the first Rally in the UK to introduce a class purely for electric vehicles, with vehicles used by the organising team powered by HVO, creating a 90% reduction in carbon emissions.

Meirion Evans, British Rally Championship front-runner, comments, “As soon as we finished last year’s Rali Ceredigion, I was already looking forward to this year’s event – it’s always a tough, but enjoyable, challenge and one that we always really enjoy. Competing at home on some stunning Welsh roads, against Europe’s top rally drivers is always a great feeling.

“We struggled a little last year as we were finding our feet with the new car, but we’ve built good speed this year, things are moving in the right direction and I’m relishing having a proper go on our home stages.”
