Safer Recruitment (Suitability Checks)

Safeguarding helps to create an environment and culture in motorsport where everyone can participate in confidence. It’s about protecting people in our sport – particularly children and adults at risk – from harm, and providing a clear and trusted route for anyone to raise a concern if they believe someone may be at risk.
Motorsport UK is committed to supporting clubs, volunteers, officials and participants to recognise and respond to safeguarding concerns. Here you’ll find guidance, training and resources to help you understand safeguarding in motorsport – and how to report a concern or seek support when needed.
If you believe someone may be at risk, or you have a safeguarding concern, you can report it to Motorsport UK.
All concerns are handled sensitively and with the appropriate support.
Please take a moment to consider our Safeguarding Strategy to power this important initiative forward over the next 5 years.
