The Vintage Sports-Car Club
The Vintage Sports-Car Club have been organising Trials for pre-war cars since before the war. At most of the Trials the club have around 110 cars taking part, they are great events taking place in some stunning locations.
The Trials on the horizon are:
- Lakeland Trial near Cockermouth on 18th November 2025

Wyedean Stages Rally – Marshals Required
The Wyedean Stages Rally will take place on Saturday 8th November 2025 and The Forest of Dean Motor Club are seeking assistance to put together a Radio and Stage Marshal Team.
The Wyedean Stages, a cherished tradition in the heart of the Forest of Dean for nearly five decades, invites you to mark your calendars for an event that’s sure to be a hit.
The Forest of Dean Motor Club is on the lookout for volunteers who can come together to form a top-notch Radio and Stage Marshal Team.

The British Rally Marshals Club
The British Rally Marshals Club are organising a practical Rally Marshals Training Day on Saturday 29th November 2025 at the National Centre for Motorsport Engineering, Bolton.
To take part, please register and sign-on here.
The training will take place between 8:30 – 16:30 and delegates can choose 2 sessions from the following list:
- Radio – RY01B (Communication In Theory), RY02C (Rally Radio), RY02D (Introduction To Rally Radio) and RY03D (Advanced Radio)
- Timing – RY02B (Introduction To Rally Timing), RY02E (Rally Timing) and RY03E (Advanced Timing)
- Grade 1 & 2 – GE01D (Working Together), GE01G (First on Scene), RY01A (Introduction To Rally), RY01C (Spectator Safety & Management), GE02A (Supporting Your Peers) and RY02A (Incident Response)
- Grade 3 – GE03A (Leadership), GE03B (Developing Others), GE03C (Giving & Receiving Feedback), GE03D (Report Writing), RY03A (Incident & Safety Management), RY03B (Event Organisation & Structure) and RY03C (Stage Set Up)
Tea/coffee will be provided – please bring your own mug. Lunch will not be provided.
