About Us
Mid-Derbyshire Motor Club is a thriving community of motorsport enthusiasts, united by a shared passion for everything on four wheels. Based in the heart of Derbyshire, our club specialises in both road and stage rallying, embracing the thrill of competition and the joy of teamwork.
Our members play a wide variety of roles, from organising exhilarating events and marshalling thrilling stages, to taking the wheel as drivers or guiding the way as navigators. But it’s not all about the action on the track – we value lively conversation, camaraderie, and the enduring friendships forged through our shared love of motorsport.Alongside a strong contingent of active competitors, Mid-Derbyshire Motor Club runs a variety of events throughout the year. The club also arranges several Scatters and 12-Car rallies, which form part of the Winter Championship—these are particularly popular thanks to the superb lanes found across Derbyshire. Indoor activities feature Tabletop Rallies, Quiz Nights, Video Nights, and Playstation Challenges, among others. With additional events like karting and paintballing, it’s clear we’re a thriving and energetic club.Whether you’re keen to get behind the wheel, lend a hand as a marshal, or simply talk motorsport over a drink, Mid-Derbyshire Motor Club offers a warm welcome and a fantastic range of opportunities to get involved. Come join us, and discover how we drive, navigate, organise – and always, always enjoy the ride!Club nights take place on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at The Amber Hotel, near Oakerthorpe, DE55 7LL, starting from 8pm. Details are provided on the Facebook page, and all are invited to attend.

About Us
The Legend Fires North West Stages Rally is a `Multi-Venue Tarmacadam Rally`. Plans are underway for our event, this highly popular rally is a qualifying round of The ANWCC Stage Rally Championship, The ANCC Championship, North of England Championship and The SD(34) Championship.
The event is recognised as the best opportunity for rally crews in the North West of England to sample a true sealed surface event which takes in several separate venues giving a total of 100 Stage Miles with a compact road route that is never more than 20 miles from the Rally HQ. This has been confirmed in recent years when the 1999, 2000 & 2002 events were voted best rally in the ANWCC Stage Rally Championship and in 2005 the rally has retained it`s spot as the opening round of the new Welsh National Tarmacadam Championship.
Our aim is to offer a challenge to the competitor, an exciting day for spectators and in the process raise a significant amount of money for Derian House Childrens Hospice - http://www.derianhouse.co.uk, with all profits from the Competitor`s Entry Fees and contributions made on the event going to this worthy cause.
Our efforts have resulted in over £75,000 going to Cancer charities from the past events and our aim is to continue this with significant improvements year on year.
The rally`s organisers represent some of the best Motor Clubs in the Region and all are well versed in the art of providing tough and demanding rallies, whilst still allowing competitors and spectators a full days enjoyment.
