Shenington Kart Racing Club received support from the Motorsport UK Kart Development Fund for installation of a fibre network covering some three quarters of the circuit and a follow up of a live stream on the September Round 8 club event.   

The fibre allows a much higher resolution of the video quality, as it is end to end fibre all the way from the camera to the web.   

The fibre installation has improved resilience to the lap-scoring timing building; replacing network cables to some of the CCTV cameras and future proofing marshal posts for internet access and light panels. 

September entries were at a high of over 230 competitors, during the Autumn Breeze event, with live streaming very well received – and the Club with plans to do more.
