Clubs & Organisers
In the digital age, it can be easy to forget that there are ways of marketing your club that aren’t online. Sometimes an event, a poster, or word of mouth are the best way to get new members into your club.
There are so many ways in which you can raise the profile of your club and it doesn’t have to be complicated! Keeping it simple with straightforward marketing methods can be key to getting your club out there. The better relations a club has with its local community and the local media, the better chance it has of increasing membership, or lobbying e.g. for venues. Promoting a club need not be expensive, as effort and ideas are more important than money.
The Marketing Methods section of the Club Toolkit is dedicated to all the ways in which your club can put your marketing strategy into action, that aren’t digital. Dedicated guides to posters and flyers, press releases and event marketing will help you get started in your local community and engage with potential members as well as your current community. A guide on Club magazines is coming soon.
