Success for UK at IAME Le Mans

Wednesday 22 October 2025

This past weekend, 16 to 19 October, saw seven female Motorsport UK licence holders participate across two classes at the famous circuit: six women competed in the IAME Ladies Cup and one participant took on the Junior class, with Eva Morris and Daisy Creed placing fourth and tenth respectively within a field of 33 drivers.

The women used the same X30 equipment as within the Junior category, with karts powered by IAME engines—renowned for their reliability and performance, honouring the sport’s technical precision and offering a platform for women to showcase their skills on a world-class stage.

The UK was successful, taking the Nations cup during the weekend, with Freddie Llydd taking the win in Seniors, alongside Gabrial Stilp on the podium, while Harry Chapman scored a win in Mini X30.

Despite tough competition in a packed field, the UK had a positive weekend, with some drivers only having started karting earlier this year.

Dan Parker, Head of Karting, Motorsport UK, comments “The IAME Ladies Cup is another example of how karting is shaping the future of motorsport, with seven talented drivers taking on a competitive weekend. As with our own Motorsport UK Girls Karting Academy, we continue to welcome more females to try out motorsport and join our vibrant community.”
