What to expect at StreetCar Festival Anglesey…
Motorsport UK’s StreetCar Festival of 2025 will be popping up as part of Anglesey Autofest on 10 August, at one of Wales’ most-loved circuits, inviting anyone to get behind the wheel of their car and enjoy grassroots motorsport.
Created in 2022, StreetCar provides the opportunity for drivers to try out a range of motorsport disciplines behind the wheel of their standard unmodified road car – offering entry-level opportunities at a range of locations around the country this summer.
With StreetCar attending Anglesey Fest, there are even more ways to get involved with grassroots motorsport – with all event entries including two general admission tickets to the Sunday.
Attendees can purchase experiences to try out motorsport in their everyday road car, including an AutoSOLO Taster, during which participants tackle a course in their standard road car, while 4X4 owners can tackle a Tyro and take to an off-road course in their own vehicle.
The StreetCar Touring Assembly will take in some of Anglesey’s most scenic roads, starting at the National Trust’s Plas Newyd and following a route to the circuit on this 25-mile tour around Anglesey.
Attendees can also expect a Treasure Hunt for the entire family to enjoy, with chances to win prizes from Motorsport UK.
Claire Kirkpatrick, Director of Club and Volunteer Development, Motorsport UK, said, “We are thrilled to be joining Anglesey Autofest this August to engage with even more motorsport fans and our Welsh car clubs at our upcoming StreetCar Festival. With the iconic backdrop of Anglesey circuit, we look forward to welcoming – it’s easier to get involved in motorsport than you might think!”
