She started out as a co-driver in the mid ’00s, claiming two victories at Ingliston in 2014-15 alongside the mercurial Bruce Edwards in a Darrian, before catching the driving bug herself – starting out in 2016 and swiftly progressing to a Ford Fiesta R200, which she has campaigned ever since. Along the way she has claimed numerous titles, including Scottish Ladies Rally Champion in 2021, and contesting large closed-road rallies in 2023-24. Shirley and Cubi currently sit 6th in the Cup standings, having finished 7th in Valenciana, 10th in Portugal, and 5th in both Slovenia and Iceland. With the three crews directly in front of them all absent in Dundee, and sitting only 7.5 points adrift of 3rd, the Galician crew will be hoping that a strong performance in the land of their fellow Celts, can help propel them up the rankings and toward the championship podium.

Our furthest travelled team (only just pipping by ~200km, Caune/Svencis from Latvia!), the husband / wife team of the Dedikovs have travelled from Sofia, Bulgaria – in Europe’s south-eastern corner, to join us at its north-western extremities, here in Dundee.
Kalin is – with Guerrini and Prusak – among the most experienced ecoRally competitors in the field, having competed in the Cup for over 10 years. He made his debut on the 2013 Tesla Rally Serbia in a Dacia Logan LPG, and his since go on to finish the Cup standings in 3rd place in 2014, fourth in 2015, and 3rd in 2024. He has secured notably victories along the way, including Tesla Rally Serbia in 2015, and on the Xanthis ecoRally in Greece in 2015, both at the wheel of a Great Wall C30 from China.
Sitting 3rd in the Cup standings, Kalin and Antoaneta’s 2025 season has enjoyed an upward trajectory – building upon a 10th place in the Czech Republic in March and 7th in Slovenia in April, they arrive in Dundee as arguably the “in form” crew of the moment, having secured overall victory on the latest Cup round in Iceland last month.
Will Balkan crew make it two victories on the bounce in Tayside…?
