Baylis & Harding support the restart of UK motorsport

Tuesday 23 March 2021

Motorsport UK is gearing up for the restart of motorsport on 29th March with the preparation of a further supply of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for its clubs and volunteers, including products kindly contributed by Baylis & Harding.

Baylis & Harding have supported the Motorsport UK community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and will supply a further 10,000 bottles of hand sanitiser as the start of the 2021 season gets underway. Together with 15,000 masks sourced by Motorsport UK, these will be included in top-up PPE packages for distribution to clubs this week to assist with the first wave of the restart. These products will go directly to the thousands of volunteers who will be getting the sport back on track in the UK throughout April.

Baylis & Harding products will also be used in Motorsport UK’s new home in Bicester, with hand sanitiser stations located around the building for staff and future visitors.

Motorsport UK CEO, Hugh Chambers, commented: “We are delighted that motorsport in England will soon be able to resume, and very appreciative of the kind support we continue to receive from Baylis & Harding to help us prepare PPE packages for the new season. The health and safety of our community continues to be of paramount importance and a great deal of consideration has been given to the preparation of updated guidance that will ensure the safe and smooth running of events, including making sure that our clubs and volunteers are looked after.”
