Countdown to the 2021 Trackrod Rally Yorkshire
The 2021 Trackrod Rally Yorkshire (24-25 September) is preparing for the return of 180 rally cars in the famous Yorkshire forests after a two-year hiatus.
With a capacity entry, plus reserves, it’s full steam ahead for the fourth round of the Motorsport UK British Rally Championship, the second round of the Fuchs British Historic Rally Championship, and the fourth round of the BTRDA Rally Series.
Rally Yorkshire will include stages on Friday evening for the BRC and historic competitors with a total 57 miles of stages. Meanwhile, the BTRDA contenders will cover 45 miles on Saturday and all stages will be single use.
Rod Parkin, Trackrod Rally Yorkshire Clerk of Course, said: “We have a full and varied entry of 180 cars, with reserves waiting in the wings. Forestry England has done a fabulous job in preparing the roads, and we are complying fully with all Government and local authority guidelines to keep everyone COVID safe.”
There is still time to get involved. Dedicated spectator access to the excellent viewing areas is available for ticket holders, which are still available to purchase in advance only. The organisers are continuing to recruit marshals for the event and have a wide variety of posts to fill.
Head to the Trackrod Rally Yorkshire website for more details, including volunteering as a marshal or following the event on Facebook and Twitter.
