Roger Wills
Roger Wills is an active motorsport participant who is highly experienced within finance and the financial services sector and currently holds various Board Directorships.
The New Zealand national worked in London in various finance roles before taking up a management consulting role with Coopers & Lybrand in Russia in 1995. Mr Wills joined leading Russian investment banking group Brunswick in 1998 and held various senior management roles in the Brunswick and UBS groups before taking over the running of the group as CEO of Brunswick Capital in 2003.
Since 2007, Roger has managed his own family office focused on investment opportunities in private equity, venture capital and public markets with a focus in emerging markets.
He is a highly regarded competitor in historic racing and also competed in the Le Mans 24 Hours twice, Spa 24 Hours several times amongst other contemporary racing events.
Alongside his role on the Motorsport UK Board, Roger is the Senior Independent Director, Chair of the Historic Committee, Chair of the Audit Committee, Chair of the Investment Committee, a member of the Rules Committee and sits on the Motor Sports Council at Motorsport UK. Furthermore, he is the British representative on the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile’s (FIA) Historic Motor Sport Commission.
Roger received a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Otago (Dunedin, New Zealand) in 1989.
