UK FF1600 Esports Cup qualifying open, Heusinkveld prizes up for grabs
Qualifying is now open for Motorsport UK Esport’s upcoming competition, as the time attack is now live on iRacing.
The feeder category for the Motorsport UK-sanctioned British F4 Esports competition has opened its doors to this season’s competitors.
Those with iRacing can qualify for the UK FF1600 Esports Cup through a dedicated time attack on the platform before 11:59pm BST on 18 August.
This highly-competitive series supports the F4 rounds, with an eight-round calendar that includes Zandvoort for the first time. This year, Henry Moore and Dan Amor have been selected by premier category teams following their stand-out 2023 UK FF1600 Esports Cup performances.
Utilising equal Ray FF1600 cars, each round will be broadcast live on iRacing’s YouTube, Facebook and Twitch channels.
Qualification entry is open to anyone with iRacing, with those who make it into the series required to sign up for a Motorsport UK Esports membership, providing entry into further organised events plus additional benefits. A year-long iRacing subscription is also bundled in.
Memberships are £24.99 for 12 months and there is a £60 championship entry fee.
As an added incentive, a new partnership has been formed with Dutch sim racing equipment manufacturer Heusinkveld. The top two drivers across the season will receive a set of the Heusinkveld Sprint Anthracite pedals (accelerator and brake pedal version) worth north of €600.
All Motorsport UK Esports members will be offered an exclusive €80 discount on the Heusinkveld Handbrake and Heusinkveld Sprint Black two-pedal set bundle.
Qualifying laps are to be set around a sunny Brand Hatch Grand Prix layout, with the top 25 making it through to the championship, which starts on 25th September.
