New Class Homologations Incorporating the Electric Cadet Class 

Motorsport UK is pleased to announce that the Notice of Intent period for New Kart Class Homologations is now open and will be open until 20 June 2025. 

Class Homologation is the official certification issued by Motorsport UK that the Kart Class meets the requirements of the regulations as well as the National Competition Rules (NCR). As such, the Homologation approval confirms eligibility for Motorsport UK Permitted Kart Racing. Homologation Certification will only be granted to Kart Classes which meet the defined criteria and other relevant regulations at the time of inspection and approval.

In addition to traditional ICE powered Kart Classes, Motorsport UK, as part of a continued ambition to make our Sport more sustainable, is also pleased to confirm that the Notice of Intent period for Electric Cadet Class Homologation is also open and will be open until 20 June 2025.
