Motorsport UK remembers Robert Foote today, one year on following an accident at Brands Hatch where he sadly lost his life.

Missed by all within the UK motorsport community, Robert volunteered as a marshal and scrutineer across the south of England, dedicating his time at Brands Hatch, Gurston Down and Goodwood.

Motorsport relies on the dedication and commitment that Robert personified and one year on since his passing, his memory lives on across the community.

Hugh Chambers, Motorsport UK CEO, commented, “Today we remember Robert and his invaluable contribution to motorsport. Our sport relies on our volunteer community to ensure the sport happens at all levels.

“It is incredibly humbling to see our community work together, support each other and provide acts of generosity in Robert’s name.”
