Co-Driver Programme
The Motorsport UK Academy Co-Drivers Programme, is a world class development programme that identifies, develops and supports talented Co-Drivers who have the potential to reach elite level in rallying.
This bespoke programme is led by experts Nicky Grist and Paul Spooner, both of whom have competed at the pinnacle of the sport in the World Rally Championship. The individualised programme provides 1:1 performance management and coaching, workshops, expert industry insight and Co-Driver specific education.
Ross Whittock (graduate of the 2016/17 Academy Co-Driver Programme and 2019 European Rally Champion) said;
“The Co-Driver Programme allowed me to understand all of the aspects it takes to become a top-level Co-Driver. The experience I was able to draw from the coaches allowed me to progress my skills quickly, and in the correct way, by understanding and learning from their own experiences. Any young aspiring Co-Driver looking to progress through the pathway should apply to become the best Co-Driver they can be.”
The successful co-drivers selected for the 2020 programme are;
Cameron Fair

Academy Coach, Paul Spooner said; “The successful applicants will, at the end of the course, be equipped with the necessary skills to move their rallying career forward. The aim is to help them develop in all aspects of the sport to allow them to take any opportunities at higher levels and be successful.”
